This 4-hour training is both educational and experiential. You will be fully immersed in the foundational knowledge of the ancient practice of meditation, mindfulness, and breathing for personal growth and spiritual development. During the session, you will be able to immediately apply and practice what you learn with the help of an experienced teacher and guide. We will practice meditation, mindfulness, and breathing.

This had been on my heart to do for a while and I got the push a couple of weeks ago to just get it done when I got a call from University City School District to lead a meditation and mindfulness training for their guidance counselors.  It was a push from the universe to get the research that I needed to get done and start training on another level. 

IN THIS TRAINING YOU WILL LEARN:

  • Exactly what is meditation and mindfulness, how to silence mental chatter at will, and train your mind to focus
  • The various faculties that make up the human being and how to align them all to create a life you love
  • The difference between your tangible (material) and intangible (spiritual) nature and how to balance them for inner peace and fulfillment
  • The science behind creating habits and how to eliminate the ones that no longer serve you
  • The true function of emotions and how to use them to serve your best and highest good (instead of being controlled by them)
  • During the Breath & Belly segment, you will learn several breathing exercises (at least 5) and will have one-on-one assistance to ensure proper execution

Ultimately, the goal of this training is to help you recognize, experience, and learn to live in the bliss of your true being as a means to set you free from suffering in whatever small or large ways it manifests in your life. This training will give you the foundational understanding and experience that will help you move into higher states of consciousness that will render to you such freedom.

How to Register:

Registration is $99 for the early birds who sign up before August 31st and $119 for registration on or after 9/1. You must pre-register online in order to attend. Visit www.meditationloungestl.com, click on ‘Class Schedule’ under the ‘Classes’ drop down on the website and go to the 9/16/17 date on the calendar and click to sign up! Once payment is made, you are registered. This is a small group training so once the max has been reached, registration automatically closes.

Refund Policy:

You will be refunded if you register and cancel at least 48 hours prior to the start of the training. There will be no refunds if you cancel after the 48-hour window or do not show. If you are unable to make the training after you register, your account will be credited and you may use the credit towards a future training session only. Credit may not be used for standard weekly classes or private sessions.

How to Prepare:

Ideally on the day of, you would have a light and healthy breakfast that includes fruit and water (in addition to whatever else you choose) and is free from meat and other processed food. Refrain from refined sugar and caffeine as they can make meditation difficult.

What to Bring:

Bring a notebook, writing instrument, and a bottle of water.

Seating Arrangements:

We will be seated on floor pillows with most of the seating against the wall for back support. If you are unable to sit on the floor, please call or e-mail before you register to request a chair. We will have space for only a few chairs.

What to Wear:

Wear something comfortable and suitable for floor seating. Shoes must come off before entering the studio.

When to Arrive:

Arrive at least 10 minutes early to get seated and settled. The training will start on time.
