I Told Life I Wanted More
I stopped and told life that I wanted more. Life kept on moving and told me that it can only give me back what I put in. What you have is a result of what you have given. If you want more, you have to give more. Good or bad, we get what we give. We reap what we sow. We get out what we put in. Sooner or later you will get what you have given. So make sure that you sow nothing but good seeds into life!
If you want to strengthen your relationships, you have to give more love, time and effort in nurturing those relationships. If you want more money, you have to give more of your time, skill, and talents and in some instances, give more money. If you want a promotion, you have to give more of whatever is required to get that.
Also, I think if we understood this better, we would be less hurtful to others. Whatever you do to someone else, will also be done to you so you’re actually doing it to yourself. There’s no way around it.
